dc.description.abstractInvestigación cuantitativa basada en la observación con estrategia asociativa desarrollada con el objetivo de determinar los factores asociados al uso del anticonceptivo oral de emergencia en jóvenes universitarias de Chimbote en el año 2023. Se trabajó con una muestra de 100 estudiantes voluntarias, quienes respondieron un cuestionario en línea de características demográficas y sexuales-reproductivas. la prueba de hipótesis fue el Chi cuadrado y para establecer el tamaño de la asociación se empleó la V de Cramer. Esta muestra se caracterizó principalmente por tener entre 20 y 24 años (49%), estudiar en universidad privada (52%) y una carrera de salud (44%). En cuanto al uso del AOE, el 55% lo hizo en el último año, 54.6%% entre 1 y 3 veces y 49.1% dentro de las primeras 24 horas postcoito de riesgo. Como factores demográficos asociados al uso se identificó la edad entre 20 y 24 años (p.60), residencia urbana (p.20), universidad privada (p.20) y estudiar una carrera de salud (p.60). Como factores sexuales-reproductivos se halló el recibir información (p.20), las relaciones sexuales con pareja ocasional (p.20), sexo bajo alcohol (p.20) y no emplear anticonceptivos de uso regular (p.40). Se concluye que los factores demográficos y sexuales-reproductivos determinan el uso del AOE en las estudiantes universitariases_ES
dc.description.abstractQuantitative research based on observation with an associative strategy developed with the objective of determining the factors associated with the use of emergency oral contraceptive in young university students from Chimbote in the year 2023. We worked with a sample of 100 volunteer students, who answered a questionnaire in line of demographic and sexual-reproductive characteristics. The hypothesis test was the Chi square and Cramer's V was used to establish the size of the association. This sample was mainly characterized by being between 20 and 24 years old (49%), studying at a private university (52%) and having a health career (44%). Regarding the use of AOE, 55% did so in the last year, 54.6% between 1 and 3 times and 49.1% within the first 24 hours after risky intercourse. Demographic factors associated with use were identified as age between 20 and 24 years (p.60), urban residence (p.20), private university (p.20) and study a health career (p.60). Receiving information (p.20), sexual relations with an occasional partner (p.20), sex under alcohol (p.20) and not using regularly used contraceptives were found as sexual-reproductive factors (p.40).
