Factores asociados al uso de métodos anticonceptivos modernos en mujeres en edad fértil en el Centro de Salud Coishco, 2025

Resumen
Esta investigación tuvo como propósito determinar los factores asociados al uso de métodos anticonceptivos modernos en mujeres en edad fértil atendidas en el Centro de Salud Coishco de enero a marzo del 2025; con tipo de investigación según finalidad de tipo básica, según su alcance, relacional, diseño de investigación no experimental, corte transversal según su línea de tiempo, incluyó a 193 mujeres en edad fértil seleccionadas mediante muestreo probabilístico, se aplicó el Cuestionario sobre factores asociados al uso de métodos anticonceptivos modernos, validado y confiabilizado por Vásquez (2023), autora del instrumento. Los datos fueron analizados con el Software IBM SPSS Statistics 26, la correlación de variables se realizó a través del Chi cuadrado. Los hallazgos indicaron que el 68.4% de participantes utiliza un método anticonceptivo, con edades mayormente entre 26 y 35 (89.1%), inicio de actividad sexual entre 15 y 19 años (71.5%), recibiendo información acerca de métodos anticonceptivos a través de charlas educativas (74.1%), los resultados inferenciales demostraron a través del chi cuadrado una relación estadísticamente significativa en los factores sociodemográficos (p=0.000), factores reproductivos (p=0.000) y de información (p=0.000). Se concluyó que tanto los factores sociodemográficos, reproductivos y de información se asocian con el uso de métodos anticonceptivos modernos.
This research aimed to determine the factors associated with the use of modern contraceptive methods in women of childbearing age treated at the Coishco Health Center from January to March 2025; with a type of research according to the basic purpose, according to its scope, relational, non-experimental research design, cross-sectional according to its timeline, included 193 women of childbearing age selected by probability sampling, the Questionnaire on factors associated with the use of modern contraceptive methods was applied, validated and reliable by Vásquez (2023), author of the instrument. The data were analyzed with the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 Software, the correlation of variables was carried out through the Chi square. The findings indicated that 68.4% of participants used a contraceptive method, with ages mostly between 26 and 35 (89.1%), initiation of sexual activity between 15 and 19 years (71.5%), receiving information about contraceptive methods through educational talks (74.1%), the inferential results demonstrated through the chi square a statistically significant relationship in the sociodemographic factors (p = 0.000), reproductive factors (p = 0.000) and information (p = 0.000). It was concluded that both sociodemographic, reproductive and information factors are associated with the use of modern contraceptive methods
