| dc.description.abstract | El trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo: Determinar los factores de riesgo y su asociación con la gonartrosis en pacientes del Servicio de Terapia y Rehabilitación del Hospital de Chulucanas II-1, 2024. Metodología: Estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional y prospectivo con una muestra de 40 usuarios. Resultados: Se evidencia una alta prevalencia de gonartrosis en el género femenino (75%) con edades comprendidas entre 56 y 69 años (57,5%). Además, el 50% presentaron sobrepeso y el 62,5% tienen antecedentes familiares de gonartrosis y el 92,5% de los pacientes son de raza mestiza. Los resultados indican que el 62,5% de los pacientes están involucrados en labores del hogar y el 67,5% se encuentra en un estrato socioeconómico bajo. El análisis revela que el 70,0% de los pacientes presenta artrosis primaria, siendo el 52,5% con afectación en ambas rodillas. La mayoría de los pacientes tiene un grado de artrosis severo (62,5%), y una proporción significativa reporta dolor moderado (57,5%) y las intensidades de dolor y rigidez son considerablemente altas. | dc.description.abstract | The research work aimed to determine the risk factors and their association with gonarthrosis in patients of the Therapy and Rehabilitation Service of the Chulucanas Hospital II-1, 2024. Methodology: A quantitative study, non-experimental design, correlational and prospective level with a sample of 40 users. Results: A high prevalence of gonarthrosis is evident in the feminine gender (75%) with ages between 56 and 69 years (57.5%). In addition, 50% were overweight and 62.5% have a family history of gonarthrosis and 92.5% of patients are of mixed race. The results indicate that 62.5% of patients are involved in housework and 67.5% are in a low socioeconomic stratum. The analysis reveals that 70.0% of patients have primary osteoarthritis, with 52.5% affecting both knees. Most patients had severe osteoarthritis (62.5%), and a significant proportion reported moderate pain (57.5%), with considerably high pain and stiffness intensities.
