Resumen
La investigación buscó, determinar las características de los Pacientes politraumatizados atendidos en el Área de Rayos X de la clínica peruano americana, Trujillo – 2025. El tipo de investigación fue básico, de enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental de clasificación descriptivo. Se utilizó como instrumento la ficha de evaluación a 120 pacientes que asisten al área de traumatología. Los hallazgos mostraron que los factores sociodemográficos tienen mayor frecuencia (53.3%) en el sexo masculino y en relación al grupo etario el 58.3% corresponde a adultos, el 36.7% tuvo traumatismo por accidente automovilístico, el 36.7% presentó lesión de esguince cervical y el 38.3% se realizó examen radiológico de columna cervical. Se concluyó que, existe una prevalencia alta de pacientes politraumatizados debido a la exposición a situaciones de riesgo, que ocasiona problemas graves en los pacientes de una clínica privada.
The research sought to determine the characteristics of polytrauma patients treated in the X-ray area of the Peruvian american clinic, Trujillo - 2025. The type of research was basic, quantitative approach, with a non-experimental descriptive classification design. The evaluation form was used as an instrument for 120 patients who attend the traumatology area. The findings showed that sociodemographic factors are more frequent (53.3%) in males and in relation to the age group 58.3% correspond to adults, 36.7% had trauma from a car accident, 36.7% had a cervical sprain injury and 38.3% underwent a radiological examination of the cervical spine. It was concluded that there is a high prevalence of polytrauma patients due to exposure to risk situations, which causes serious problems in patients of a private clinic.
